Greetings.
I hope someone can help me with a problem I'm having, and have been unable to get any online help. Here's my setup:
MS Windows Server SBE
MS Exchange 2003
OMA (Outlook Mobile Access)
OWA (Outlook Web Access)
Symptom: The issue only affects ONE user on my network. When they attempt to log onto OMA (either on their mobile device, or browser on a PC) using http://<server>/OMA they get the following message:
If you have recently changed your password, the system may not yet have completed the change. Please wait a short time and try again. If this is not the case, your Exchange server mailbox has not been created. Please access your account via Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Web Access to create your user mailbox. Please contact your system administrator for additional assistance.
They can log into OWA (using http://<server>/exchange) with no problem, so there's no issue with the username/password. Note: This user does have a larger mailbox, approx 1.5GB. I'm not sure if this is significant.
In an effort to fix the problem, the user did change his password, waited, and tried again, but it made no difference. (We had a theory that he had bad credentials cached somewhere in Exchange or OMA.)
I'm desperately hoping someone has seen a similar issue. I've exhaused the MS Tech forums, and everything else!
Many thanks for taking the time to read this. If you can suggest another source for me to investigate, that would be useful too.
Kind regards,
Steve Gallant
